Things you will need to find

You will need to make sure you have your own personal photo ID, the original last Will and the original Death Certificate in front of you and the ability to scan these documents. Do not remove any staples or binding on the Will.
You will also need to have details of the deceased person’s assets and liabilities and their estimated values (such as details of bank accounts, shares, real estate and retirement village deposits) as well as contact details for anyone else applying for Probate as a co-executor with you.

Once the Court has processed your application and confirmed it is in order, the Court will issue a Grant of Probate.
