You will also need to pay:
- $161.70 advertising fee to the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting
- $793 Court filing fee to the Supreme Court of Queensland, regardless of the value of the estate
New South Wales
You will also need to pay:
- $55 advertising fee to the Supreme Court of NSW
- Court filing fee to the Supreme Court of NSW based on the gross value of NSW assets in the estate, as follows:
- up to $99,999.99 assets: $0
- $100,000–$249,999.99 assets: $899
- $250,000–$499,999.99 assets: $1,221
- $500,000–$999,999.99 assets: $1,873
- $1,000,000–$1,999,999.99 assets: $2,494

Victoria
You will also need to pay:
- $35.90 advertising fee to the Supreme Court of Victoria

How it works
Apply
Complete our online form from the comfort of your home.
You will need to scan your photo ID, the last Will and Death Certificate.
Generate
We publish the required legal notice advertising your intention to apply for Probate.
We also prepare application documents and affidavits which we post to you.
Sign them in the presence of a Justice of the Peace and return them to us in the envelope provided so we can file them in the Court
The documents will also need to be signed by any other person applying for Probate with you.
Confirm
Once the Court has processed your application and confirmed it is in order, the Court will issue a Grant of Probate.
We will provide you with a digital version of the Grant of Probate and five paper certified copies. How long this takes is dependent on Court processing timeframes but in most cases the whole process is completed within four months.
You can then start the process of administering the estate.
